Oh man. Desperate need for a hyphen.

  2. j. on April 24th, 2008 at 10:11 am

Hyphen? I think a simple apostrophe would fix everything.

  3. trophyguy on April 24th, 2008 at 10:20 am

How bout just a space. :-D

    Hehe…that’s pretty funny.

  9. Hey on April 29th, 2008 at 10:48 pm

I say if they aren’t using a space, then it would look like kid sexchange… which is probably not what they want.

  10. ack on May 1st, 2008 at 10:14 pm

    Oh man…just got it.

    slow.

  11. Alex on May 2nd, 2008 at 8:57 pm

looks as if the E and the X are just edited in with paint or something. photo fail.

    • Louise F. Rhodes on October 17th, 2008 at 2:19 pm

What kind of place would be called Kids Change?

    • Anonymous on November 9th, 2008 at 2:15 pm

why does it matter, its funny as hell

  12. Sarah on May 3rd, 2008 at 12:27 pm

That is really amusing. Who ever was putting the sign up must of been smoking something, he.

  15. Anonymous on May 4th, 2008 at 8:22 pm

Its not edited, or else ver well edited, because the E and X have shadows on the wall behind them

    • Z on October 16th, 2008 at 3:00 am

You do realize how easy that is to add with Photoshop?

      • Some Guy on December 30th, 2008 at 6:06 pm

Yeah, but Photoshop is pretty damn expensive (well, to me anyway; I’m poor)

      • D / DM on July 19th, 2009 at 8:18 pm

Again, what do you think it said before the Photoshopping? Kids Change? That makes no sense.

  16. Alex on May 4th, 2008 at 8:30 pm

    Kid Sex Change! hahahahahahaha
    a space is needed.

  17. J on May 4th, 2008 at 10:13 pm

they could have made kids possessive as in “kid’s exchange”, but either way there should be a space

    • Louise F. Rhodes on October 17th, 2008 at 2:20 pm

Well, it’d be “Kids’ Exchange”, but yeah.

  18. Richard on May 5th, 2008 at 4:55 am

The same thing happens with “Experts Exchange”, or rather, http://www.expertsexchange.com. But there can neither be a space nor a ‘ in a URL, so that isn’t their fault.

  19. Extramrdo on May 5th, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Just because it isn’t their fault doesn’t mean it’s not funny.
With the sign, they could have gotten a hyphen, or a space, or even an apostrophe, if only to make it not look like that. Yes, I am aware an apostrophe would make it a different FAIL, but at least it would be a standard apostrophe fail and not what it is now.

    • Louise F. Rhodes on October 17th, 2008 at 2:22 pm

It wouldn’t be an apostrophe fail, it is now though! It SHOULD be “kids’ ….”

  20. Deku Link on May 6th, 2008 at 10:26 pm

“I guess they were charging extra for hyphens at the sign shop. ;~D”

Nah, I bet that the spaces were too much that day. haha ;)

  21. Eric on May 7th, 2008 at 6:12 pm

Just to point out, there are several post fails for this picture.

Anyway, say if they did add a space, what kind of store is a Kids Exchange? Do you exchange your kids for new ones?

    • Louise F. Rhodes on October 17th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

      Precisely.

      Should be “Kids’ Exchange”

  22. Creeper on May 14th, 2008 at 7:03 pm

    NOW THAT is bad…..

    Wow….

    HAH!
I wonder if its still in business

  23. Ben on May 17th, 2008 at 5:12 pm

SNL… an album cover vs. anal bum cover… or better yet, therapist vs. the rapist.

  24. chacharles on May 18th, 2008 at 11:44 am

    this should be “space fail”

  25. Bryan on May 18th, 2008 at 10:54 pm

I think “epic fail” describes this better than space fail. Sure, it is a “space fail,” but it is of epic proportions.

  26. Michelle on May 19th, 2008 at 1:27 am

The photo wasn’t edited. There should be a space. Kids Exchange is a consignment store for children’s clothing.

  27. lydia on May 19th, 2008 at 11:19 pm

    hahahahahahahahaha!!!!
    need….. air!

  28. DekuLink on June 5th, 2008 at 5:56 pm

    “must of been smoking”

…Must HAVE been smoking. Or better yet: must’ve.

  29. Keelhaul on June 11th, 2008 at 12:23 pm

“Oh man. Desperate need for a hyphen.”
(I’m so goin’ to hell for this….but,)
Did you say hyphen or hymen?…Me = no class

  30. daddy00 on June 13th, 2008 at 7:54 am

I thought about the hyphen/hymen thing too. Glad I’ll have company in hell.

  31. Sçium on June 15th, 2008 at 12:43 pm

For all of those people saying only apostrophe: Does Kid’sexchange seem any better? It only seems like it would magnify the FAIL.

    Kid’s Exchange is laughable, still.

If only it was KID SEX EXCHANGE….

  32. Sçium on June 15th, 2008 at 1:54 pm

I’d prefer a PROFESSIONALSEXCHANGE over a KIDSEXCHANGE if I was forced into one or the other

  33. Jevanyn on June 25th, 2008 at 9:15 am

Bloody sign company changes full one-letter price for little apostrophe. And spaces cost extra because they’re invisible!

The saddest part is the number of people involved. The business owner, the guys who put up the sign, the the guys who designed the sign, etc. You’d think at least one person would have thought “Hmmm, not good.” Even sadder, the owners left the sign up there.
