If I’m not mistaken, in German ‘kette’ means either ‘chain’, ‘necklace’, or ‘collar’. ‘Hals’ just means ‘neck’. It’s the same in Dutch too. They don’t have a distinction between the dog collar and a necklace like we do. So the mistake is an understandable translation error to me. Maybe it should a ‘translation fail’.
