Call me crazy, but it looks to me that someone else (not the original sign maker) put the “n’t” on the word don’t. The handwriting is completely different and you can clearly see where the underlines join. I wouldn’t be surprised if the person that took the photo was the one that did it. Booooo.

I like that the person capitalized the first and second letter of three of the words. (PLease, THis) THat could GEt really ANnoying…
Is the sign really necessary? With all that tape? Is the door actually taped shut, thus causing it to be “locked” anyway?

Even if the “n’t” is added on the “Not” should (Not) be in parentheses. So it still would be a fail.
Yeah, it looks like it may have said “Please do not” first and then someone came along and changed it to “Please don’t (not)”
