   Huh. I’d never guess that that would be the sound the alarm makes.

   Now when that thing goes off, it had better be a recording of some guy shouting “WHOOP WHOOP” over and over.

   I like it how the quotation marks are around the words, “Alarm sounds like,” rather than “Whoop, whoop.”

   I think the fail is to point out the quotation marks. I am trying to figure out the correct way they wanted to say this. Alarm sounds like: “WHOOP WHOOP”? What if someone hears the alarm and thinks it is more of a “BEEP BEEP” or a “HONK HONK”, should they just ignore the alarm?

   not gonna lie… i’m feeling pretty awesome that my picture earned a coveted spot on englishfail

   and yes. i walked out to the elevators and started laughing at this ridiculous sign.

   no, it was actually at the holiday inn at chicago o’hare. but it doesn’t surprise me to hear there are multiple… though it is a bit depressing to think of the exact same fail popping up at locations all over the US haha
