Wow; this one is just astonishing!

You’d think if they were intelligent enough to draw that fancy backwards F thing, then at least they’d be smart enough to know that 3 should be followed by “rd.”

I hope the floors on the 1rd and 2st floors are dry.

Holy crap Burrill that is hysterical! I guess I wonder where this sign is posted, I assume not on the 3th floor? So when you get to that floor and fall on your ass in the water you’ll think “Oh yeah, I remember that sign in the lobby.”

Maybe it’s the 13th floor and the photo was cropped?

    5th?
    Is that a bad 5?

@KIR in NV: The majority of building have no 13rd floor, they go from 12st to 14rd.

    All number fails were intentional.

I actually work on the 13th (13st?) floor of a high rise. It comes in between the 12nd and the 14rd.

pretty sure that “fail” is a verb. having trouble laughing along with folks that are using the language incorrectly. maybe we could change it to “failures”? i know that the language changes constantly, and that folks tasked with monitoring that are..well..monitoring it. and i’m the first to play around with language despite my deep respect for it, and my devout adherence to proper spelling. so it seems like a choice – either adhere to the proper use and laugh – or don’t. but laughing at language misuse while you do the same..? well.. it’s like laughing at the guy walking past your house wearing a bad suit when you’re watching him from your lawn sporting an inflatable ducky about your midriff and floaties. and yes, i understand fully the oxymoronical quality of my abusive neglect of proper capitalization in this missive.

@pam: In slang “fail” can be used to describe failure.
