Haha - I live in Buffalo, of which Tonawanda is a suburb… this happens every year during Canal Fest - some smartass thinks it’s hilarious to make off with the “C”. It’s funny the first time you see it, no so much year after year.
That’s about the time Mr. Sharpie pulls a smart move and permanently writes in the “C” so no smartass teens think it is like THE thing to do… I’ve wanted to fix signs like this for years. I think it’s immature.
I have to wonder what they really meant…or if they mean what the sign said! :O

Still gets a chuckle out of me…

its still english :p
But, will someone please tell me where we CAN park for the anal fest…
In the rear?
Oh wow!! I went to Canal Fest!! I can’t believe I missed this!
yeah!! Western New York Represent!
Obviously done by someone who thought it was funny to remove the “C” rather than it being a genuine mistake.
Canal Street in Manchester is well known for its gay bars and clubs. For some reason the C and the S on the street signs keep getting painted out.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha, anal treet.
I wouldn’t care if I saw the same prank every year. I’d be a little disappointed if someone didn’t do it, to be honest. That is just hilarious.
what the heck is anel fest?
omg
Lol, I grew up in Tonawanda, New York, Canal Fest was one of the best things to do there when it was around. This kinda makes me laugh a little.
