    … whut.

It makes sense if you assume a few words.

It’s hard to [be] sore like an eagle when your flying [is] with Terky’s [flying].

Or in other words, you need to get a pretty good work-out to fly in such a manner so as to be as sore as an eagle is, and Terky’s wimpy manner of flying just doesn’t cut it. Sorry Terky.

    But turkeys can’t fly…….

Maybe that’s supposed to be irony? Who knows.

What’s really bad is they decided to fix the mis spelled Flying…forget the rest of the trainwreck.

Wild turkeys can definitely fly. They don’t fly high or for long distances, but they definitely fly.

On the plus side, they used the correct form of “it’s”. I’m impressed with that. I suppose it doesn’t take much to grammatically impress me these days.

Aw. And it’s hard to make a successful witticism when your spelling makes people want to kill themselves. With terky’s.

Oh, that’s weird. It saves the last poster’s name in the Name field? What kind of terky’s invented this blog anyway? ;)

  11. September 24th, 2008 at 10:17 | #11

    wen will they evr lurn?

  12. Some guy
    September 24th, 2008 at 10:23 | #12

At least that is proper usage of “It’s.” There’s usually always a fail when it comes to that.

  13. September 24th, 2008 at 10:53 | #13

Is that bucket full of concrete? I bet that makes it harder to soar like an eagle, too. :-P

Let’s not forget that this appears on a 5 gallon bucket. I am not sure how high our expectations should be of people who write “poetry” on a bucket.

thanks for the giggle. = )

It’s definitely hard to soar like an eagle when you’re brain damaged.

More like tired t-shirt cliche fail.

It’s supposed to be “It’s hard to fly like an eagle when you work with turkeys”.

And I’m embarrassed to admit I know that…

Its difficult to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by turkeys.

  21. iThinkergoiMac
    September 24th, 2008 at 15:44 | #21

    More like…

“It’s hard to soar like an eagle when you’re flying with turkeys.”

Somewhat deep on a philosophical level if you can figure out the spelling.

I’ve heard a similar expression before but the mistakes just made it laughable!

It’s not often you get 5 fails in one post — not counting random capitalization.

    sore
    wen
    your
    terky’s counts for 2

  24. September 24th, 2008 at 22:48 | #24

I was somewhat impressed with the correct apostrophe use, too… until I read “Terky’s”.

This kind of English fail is the saddest kind; a lot of what turns up on this site is just “engrish;” this person was using his/her first (and undoubtedly only) language.

I don’t think they’ll be soaring anytime soon. At least not until they can spell on a second grade level.

    @Aeterna
Your translation is so very wrong
It’s hard to soar like an eagle
    When you’re flying with turkeys

    @Aeterna
No no dude I don’t think it needs any assumption of words, its just they’re all incorrectly spelt: It’s hard to sore like an eagle when you’re flying with turkeys. Meaning its hard to aspire to be anything good in life when all the people around you are idiots.
