      and, OY!

  2. megskathy on October 9th, 2008 at 8:02 am

I think the correct answer would be “JJ,” not “NJ.”

    • Adam on October 9th, 2008 at 9:53 am

      Manhattan!

      … okay, okay. Jewhattan.

  3. Tim on October 9th, 2008 at 8:05 am

Maybe it’s a trick question. The correct answer is to file a suit against the Bar.

    • April on October 9th, 2008 at 9:37 am

      Exactly what I was thinking!

  4. L on October 9th, 2008 at 8:41 am

Eeesh. Not a little thing you can say “oopsies!” too!

  5. Katie on October 9th, 2008 at 12:50 pm

Oh noes, I live in New Jersey, but I’m not a Jew.

  6. Megan on October 9th, 2008 at 5:43 pm

So why is the answer New/Jew Jersey? Or did this person answer the question wrong?

    • Colleen on October 9th, 2008 at 6:26 pm

I didn’t answer the question wrong, the answer is NJ. He moved to NJ with the intent to stay/live there.

      • Megan on October 9th, 2008 at 9:46 pm

But why is the answer NJ? So was the fire before he actually left to go back to Manhattan? I’m just wondering.

        • Scott on October 20th, 2008 at 12:29 am

It seems that it would be NY, because that is where he died, but ‘domiciled’ means where he actually had residence. Although, I wonder if this question requires knowledge of residency. For instance, to vote somewhere in my state you need to reside at that residence for 30 days. I wonder if under any issues like this if Jack would still be considered domiciled in NY.

  7. Jim on October 9th, 2008 at 7:33 pm

“killing Jack and several others…” Several others?! Why did they have to die? They had nothing to do with the story!!

  8. Megan on October 9th, 2008 at 9:51 pm

i guess he only DECIDED to go back to Manhattan, he never actually went.

    Unfair 2-answered questions.

    • JoJo on October 19th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

No, I believe that it was his apartment building in Manhattan that caught on fire and killed him.

  9. Anonymous on October 12th, 2008 at 2:28 am

I’m more frightened by the fact that Jack actually decided to move to Newark. Religion, typos, and multiple deaths aside….

  10. ade t on October 12th, 2008 at 5:13 am

If he lived in Jew Jersey, maybe there was a case of SIKH and destroy

  13. Ross on October 14th, 2008 at 10:22 am

    Greatest Freudian slip ever.

  14. Jer on October 25th, 2008 at 2:01 am

    YAY JEW JERSEY!!

  15. Tom on November 7th, 2008 at 7:57 am

    Sucks to be Jack.

  16. LOLZ on October 27th, 2009 at 3:16 pm

    now THATS funny.

  17. Hiroyuki on November 5th, 2009 at 9:48 pm

the answer is MANHATTAN. the NJ apt has no heat, so he went back to MANHATTAN to sleep cuz theres HEAT, although he has nothing to sleep on. Thats why his apt caught on FIRE due to the HEAT or w/e in his apt in MANHATTAN. it even stated “HE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO MANHATTAN APT AND SPEND THE NIGHT THERE.”

    so its double fail.

  18. Aydee on November 9th, 2009 at 8:38 am

Calm your hit, Hiroyuki. The question asked where Jack’s domicile is, his legal residence. Now I don’t know the laws in Jew Jersey, but assuming they don’t have a 30 day rule and he had completed all his paper, Manhattan is not the correct answer.

  19. Anonymous on November 10th, 2009 at 7:17 pm

little dark why couldnt he just have woken up in the apartment unharmed instead of being engulfed in flames

  20. i on November 11th, 2009 at 9:04 pm

IT says New Jersey somewhere in the first few sentences….then Jew Jersey???

  21. Jim Mcrea on December 5th, 2009 at 5:59 pm
