    At least it’s consistant… I guess…

      Was that misspelling intentionel?

      • Teresa on November 21st, 2008 at 9:41 pm

Probably not. I was at work and still half asleep. It took me awhile to even figure out what the problem was!

wtf? is “that” supposed to be “whom”? i dont see it

    • plus4db on November 21st, 2008 at 2:43 pm

It would be “who.” “Whom” is the objective form.

They misspelled “cemetery”. More than once. IN A STONE INSCRIPTION.

    *facepalm*

  5. plus4db on November 21st, 2008 at 2:41 pm

Not only did they misspell “cemetery,” I would rather have seen “who blessed” instead of “that blessed.”

Thanks for showing the fail. I failed to see the fail.

I’m into genealogy, and I can tell you that this misspelling is so common. I think I might actually see “cemetary” more than “cemetery” in other people’s records…

      You sound smart! and cute.

    • plus4db on November 21st, 2008 at 8:00 pm

Sorry. I thought you were my wife at work. You do sound smart. I’m sure you are plenty cute, too.
She is into genealogy and calls herself “L.”
      Oops.

Nothing says ‘reverence’ quite like misspellings cast in bronze for future generations to mock in perpetuity.
