It’s a Pandora bracelet, some of which are really lovely, but this one – yes, surpassingly ugly.
There is a great comic on angryflower.com entitled “Bob’s Quick Guide to its and it’s, you idiots” that I had to print out and post on my cubicle wall. Part of what he says is: “it’s = it is” “that’s all folks! that’s all y’gotta remember!” and he’s right – it is so simple! Yet apostrophe use remains one of the most difficult of concepts to master (apparently) in English grammar, particularly in this case.
I don’t get it!! ??
It’s is short for it is.
Its (without apostrophe) is used as the possessive.
What’s unforgettable is how ugly that bracelet is. Eesh.
