So you always spell the word “time” with two ‘i’s then?
The focus of the picture is on the orange(-ish) AIDS sticker, the other error at the bottom is just a bonus that the photographer may not even have been aware of.
It’s fun to see how easy it is to miss something so simple as two i’s in a word. I must’ve looked at that sticker half a dozen times and still didn’t see it. Thanks Odorikakeru (and if I’d read the first comment more carefully, I’d have been thanking its poster).
As to the comment about the 1782 sticker, the Constitution’s existence has nothing to do with it. The Congress was in existence, and did in fact vote upon the printing of Bibles–but the sticker is misleading and merely spreading common misinformation. Heck, the person (or people) who had the stickers printed probably don’t even know the truth, they just assume that what they’re fed is right without doing any fact-checking. Don’t know if it’ll show here, but: http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:qKK_p5×4UzQJ:www.liarsforjesus.com/downloads/LFJ_chap_1.pdf+U.S.+Congress+print+bibles&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
is a nicely detailed piece about this (and related) issues. Or you can go to Google and type “U.S. Congress print bibles” and it’s the second result, at least as of me typing this.
But their mention of that isn’t referencing the -beginning- of that idea, but rather the -current- reminders the RR gets from those of us who want it held. While I can understand your point, and why one might think it’s a fail, I don’t think it’s a true fail.
I think the bumper sticker is singing the phrase, and making “time” into a multi-syllabic word, kinda like the Stones did when they sang “Ti-i-i-ime is on my side.”
People, there is NOTHING in the constitution about separation of church and state. NOTHING. It was written in a note that they shouldn’t become one, because then government would control religion! If I’m wrong, find the spot in the constitution and show it to me.
I can almost hear them singing on Sesame Street now:
I’ve got two Is, one - two.
They’re both the same size, one - two…
The constitution wasn’t ratified until 1787? There was no first amendment in 1782.
Actually was written in 1787, wasn’t ratified until 1788.
The fail in this picture has nothing to do with language or spelling.

There is so much fail in that picture.
Bristol Palin should have plastered her body with these stickers a long time ago.
What…too soon?
I just enjoy the fact that most of the other bumper stickers appear to be promoting Jesus, but apparently they are for separation of church and state.
Well it did seeing as they mentioned “separation of church and state”.

I totally agree with that statement.

“Yes, it is.”
Yep, pretty much.
I happen to think the idea Santa is trying to convey trumps any trivial misspellings you feel the need to criticize him about.

its Donation, it doesn’t have the ‘n’ at the end. Donatio
The proximity of the first two bumper stickers seems to make a disturbing conclusion. (Even without considering the implied sexual innuendo.)
When you come to Jesus your search is over. It only takes one [time] to get AIDS.
