   Maybe they didn’t screw up. They may have intentionally left out the determiner so the usage would be similar to “on land” versus “at sea”.

   This is not an uncommon way of speaking of a ski slope. Wordacious is right.

   yup. i had to read these comments to see that the fail was aimed at “on mountain”

   posting fail tbh.
