Editor’s Note: Yes, I know this costume is a remake from the simpsons, but I thought I’d throw it on the blog anyway because it is still spelled wrong regardless of whether or not it appeared on the simpsons, and also I think it might make a few people smile. In addition, for people who don’t watch the simpsons, or didn’t see this episode, this post is relevant.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone!

    That isn’t really a fail… it is a recreation of the “Floreda” costume that Homer made for Lisa in Season 5 Episode 10.

    @comicbookguy

    Yup. In mind mind, this is a good costume, so please change the title to “Halloween Costume Win.”

    Certainly not fail. It, as comicbookguy mentioned, is a Simpsons reference. (and a good one at that)

    Strangling your son is OK because it was on the Simpsons, and that’s a “reference” rather than being “plagiarism”, “copying”, or “criminal manslaughter”.

    the distinguishing feature of any badly-conceived fancy-dress outfit is that the wearer has to write an explanation of the theme onto the costume. This is why Homer did it.
    In this case, the wearer is having the last laugh by making indirect reference to The Simpsons.
    It’s quite clever.

    Not only that, but the editor failed himself. In the editor’s note, he says “If you haven’t seen the episode, blah, blah…this fail is relevant” I think you mean “irrelevant” dude.

    I didn’t see the episode so i think it is a relevant post since Florida is spelled wrong so this is a fail whether it meant to be funny or not. @Josh

    Hahahahahahah! @Josh Dude, you just totally look like a douche now. Hahah! If you read the editor’s note again, it says: “for people who don’t watch the simpsons, or didn’t see this episode, this post is relevant.” Meaning, it is a relevant fail.
    You look like such a dumb shit now!
